Grady Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Shirts That Cook!

My father-in-law, Frank Grady was a sharp dresser! He always wore button down shirts and dress pants. When he passed away a day before he turned 98, I decided to keep his shirts and sweaters to create some memory keepsakes for the family. I surprised my sister-in-laws with these aprons on Easter. They are both fun and functional, and were a big hit with the Grady Girls.

The aprons turned out so cute that I am planning to sell them at the Textile Center and on Etsy in the coming weeks. I am calling them “Shirts That Cook!” (because I love to name my work) If you are interested in having custom aprons made out of a loved one’s shirts, please contact me, I would love to create something special for you.
