Sheree with Hat, Mittens & Scarf

This is what Sheree had to say… Pat has been an oasis of love and joy on my life’s journey. When my beloved husband and best friend passed, Pat patiently listened to better understand how his garments could lovingly guide me in my grieving process.  She took my beloved’s sweaters and  transformed them into beautiful new wearable memories that made my spirit soar! Recently Pat has created remarkable pieces of clothing that have paved the path for the next chapter of my life to unfold with ease, elegance, grace and gratitude.

Julie with Dogrian

This is what Julie had to say…Even though what I wanted was outside of her normal style, Pat was very collaborative and wanted to make a piece that combined my vision with her skills. I love the finished piece! Definitely makes a statement. I had boxes of ribbons from several show dogs careers and it seemed such waste to not to display them. Now when I look at my “Dogrian” it brings me back to all of the times spent with Jenny, Jascha, Willy and Betsy and the human friends I made during that part of my life. I loved them all and miss them so much.

Margaret with David's Pillow

This is what Margaret had to say… Pat is a creative, easy-going and wonderfully patient person to work with Pat created “David’s pillow” after my son passed away from cancer at 33 years old. It was a real gift of her time and friendship. Pat utilized a little of everything that I wanted sewn into this patchwork of precious memories that represent a life taken in his prime. David’s pillow is gratefully and humbly displayed in our living room for family and guests to honor and remember him.

Lynda with Quilt and Pillows

This is what Lynda and Craig had to say…We have known Pat forever. She is the most creative and imaginative person we have ever known. She created this memory quilt for us in rememberance of Lynda’s Mother. It captured the essence of Kathryn’s Life In Color. It is a daily reminder and constant source of comfort. Truly a “Dream Come True”. Pat also made pillows in honor of Craig’s Mother that again exceeded all expectations. Pat is a great listener and translates emotions and personal experiences into a true work of art. Pat’s passion and creativity is off the charts. She is a blessing and is simply amazing.

Linda Giving Fred's Pillow a Hug

This is what Linda had to say…When we decided that one of our family’s tangible ways of remembering my husband was to have “shirt pillows” made out of many of his colorful golf shirts, we knew Pat Grady was our go-to person! Her listening, creativity, and flexibility were the best—we ended up with a beautiful, professional, and huggable product we are all thrilled with! So far I have asked her to make 10 of them, and every single recipient has been so happy with them! Now we are working on a new project with more of the shirts – it’s a secret – and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with! Pat has more than exceeded my expectations, and we are so happy to have these comforting keepsakes!
